Privacy Policy
FOB Calc is a free, browser-based export price calculator. This policy explains what we do — and more importantly, what we do not do — with your data.
No Data Collection
All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the values you enter — cost, quantity, exchange rate, freight, or insurance. Nothing you type leaves your device.
One Cookie, No Tracking
The site sets exactly one cookie, privacy_consent, and only after you press Accept or Decline in the consent notice. It records that single choice so the notice does not reappear on every page. It contains no identifier, is never sent to us, and expires after one year. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting of any kind.
No Third-Party Services
The site is served as static pages from Cloudflare Pages. We do not load fonts, scripts, images, or any other content from a third party. Beyond this domain, the only requests a page makes are to Cloudflare's own endpoints, which serve the site and run its bot and security checks — fobcalc.com and challenges.cloudflare.com. No analytics, advertising, or social network request is made from any page.
The consent notice and the advertising account file on this site are preparations for serving ads. No advertising or analytics script is active today. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name what runs and what it collects before it goes live, and advertising cookies will only be set if you have accepted them.
What We Do Have
Cloudflare's edge network may log standard, brief connection metadata (IP address, request time) for security and CDN operations. This is network infrastructure logging, not website analytics, and it is outside our control.
Your Data, Your Rules
Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete, export, or sell. The consent cookie lives in your own browser and clearing your browser data removes it. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
Disclaimer
This calculator provides estimates for business planning only. Actual prices depend on commercial negotiation, freight rates, insurance premiums, exchange rates, and Incoterms® 2020 terms. Always confirm final pricing with your freight forwarder.
